The Legal Redress Committee works to address criminal justice and juvenile justice issues. The Stafford NAACP Branch advocates to increase the awareness of police brutality, racial profiling, and other injustices disproportionately affecting our communities. We build community partnerships and take an aggressive approach to abolish and prosecute incidents of police brutality. We take a proactive approach to combating racial bias in law enforcement. We seek to eliminate disparate treatment of blacks in all aspects of law enforcement and criminal justice systems.

The Stafford NAACP Branch Legal Redress Committee may also provide legal information to concerned citizens, but does not provide legal advice. To file a complaint or request legal information, complete a Discrimination Complaint Form and submit to the Stafford NAACP Branch.
